Amazing in every way! This place is incredible. We arrived with a tent hoping to stay one night and ended up staying three and bringing other family to where we were as well. The owner Mehmet was one of the best hosts we've ever had. Breakfasts were amazing and full of local ingredients he grew himself. When my wife was sick he brought her tea and hot water bottles, he was chatty, friendly and helped us plan some great trips around the area. It's such a different world from the tack and nastiness of Oludeniz. A real look into village life and a real Turkish experience.
Melissa pension is located at a great position in Faralya at the top of Butterfly Walley.. It has a good natural garden that you can spend a joyful afternoon perhaps with a book...

Lovely hosts, mellow place, comfy rooms & communal kitchen. The heading says it all. Mehmet and Elizabeth are lovely hosts who made us feel welcome and comfortable after a very long hiking day. Our en suite room was airy, large and well furnished with clean crisp sheets and towels, closet space, lots of light and windows. Everything in the bathroom worked and it had a proper shower stall with plenty of hot water. The WiFi connection was good. The communal areas are inviting and the use of the well equipped kitchen was a huge plus since we are trekking the Lycian Way and had food to store for the hike. Mehmet's delicious and generous breakfast on the open terrace included oats/muesli a unique and much appreciated addition. The pansiyon is only minutes away to the trail down to Butterfly Valley and just off the path to continue the Lycian Way toward Kabak. We highly recommend staying at Melisa Pansiyon.

Peaceful, beautiful setting and cheap If Oludeniz isn't your thing - Newquay in Turkey: Tacky, English breakfasts, English shops, English people - and you're starting the Lycian Way this is an amazing place to stay ok your first night or even to base yourself. Mehmet is incredibly kind. I was ill and his wife and him did everything they could to help me. The breakfast is all from his garden or from the village and is huge. The honey is perfect and straight from the hive. Everything is clean and the balcony is cool and tranquil. It's not 5 star but you don't pay 5 star prices at 100 lira for a double room (£30). There are approximately 6 restaurants for lunch and dinner within 5 mins walk along the road. Most have a great view of Butterfly Valley. It's not bookable on the internet so get the number off the website and you'll be happy you did.
